Workshops Alliance brainstorming sessions

The Alliance Association is launching Les Brainstormings d'Alliance, a series of events designed to encourage reflection between peers and academic institutions on cross-functional issues affecting technology, innovation and industrialization. Our events are free for association members.

During Alliance Brainstormings, a member company is invited to bring its problem to the workshop. The workshop closes with two presentations by guests chosen with you: a person from the academic field and a company working on the issue in question.

Would you like to submit a problem or take part in a brainstorming session?

Student projects

The Alliance association helps its members set up student projects. These projects are Bachelor's or Master's degree projects. Under the supervision of a professor in charge of the project, the student works on solving a concrete problem of the company involved, and must provide substantiated answers to a research question related to this theme.

The company provides the student with human, documentary and technical resources for the successful completion of his/her work and will receive the student∙e's results in return. Each collaborative project is subject to a contract between the company, the Haute école and the student∙e.

These projects can be proposed by companies to universities once a year (twice a year for EPFL). An Alliance consultant will advise you on the possibilities for collaboration with a university, and will help you write your proposal and put you in touch with an interested professor.
