Innosuisse introduced the Swiss Accelerator in 2022 and is launching its second call for projects in 2023. Established Swiss SMEs and start-ups with high innovation potential can apply for direct financial support for innovation projects under the Swiss Accelerator. Innovative products and services must be able to be implemented quickly and efficiently, and enable scalability.

August 28, 2023 09:00: Innolink portal opens for simplified application submission.
October 9, 2023 12:00 (noon): Deadline for submission of the simplified application.
The Swiss Accelerator remains a transitional measure for Horizon Europe in 2023, in accordance with the Federal Council's decision of May 24, 2023. As Switzerland is considered a third country not associated with the European Union's Framework Program, the Federal Council has entrusted Innosuisse with the implementation of this transitional measure. It is financed by the Swiss Confederation.
Innosuisse's contribution may not exceed 70% of project costs. The company is responsible for 30% of the costs as its own contribution. Innosuisse funding may not exceed 2.5 million Swiss francs per application. Established SMEs and start-ups are subject to a three-stage application procedure.
